SEXCURSION TO CHERRAPUNJEE Today drive to Cherrapunji (65km) – the wettest place on the earth. En-route visit Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak at Shillong. At Cherrapunji visit Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sister Falls & Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunji, drive back to Shillong. O/N stay in Shillong.
SEXCURSION TO DAWKI – MAWLYNNONG This morning proceed for Dawki (120Km/3hrs) near the Bangladesh border and Mawlynnong (90km/2hrs. approx), this little colourful village is known for its cleanliness. Explore the Root Bridge, Sky Walk and Natural Balancing Rock. Back to Shillong. Evening free for leisure. O/N at Shillong.
SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK After Breakfast, proceed to Kaziranga National Park (310km) – a World Heritage Site and Tiger Reserve, covering an area of 430 sq km. It is home to more than 80% of the world’s Rhino population. O/N stay at Kaziranga.
KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK Today morning go for an exclusive jeep safari in the central range of the Park Later visit Orchid Park, Tea Garden and shopping at the local handloom market. O/N at Kaziranga
KAZIRANGA – BOMDILA Today drive to Bomdila/Dirang – the headquarters of West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh and also known for its Buddhist monasteries. It has a lot of attractions for visitors for its cool climate. Check-in at the hotel. O/N at Bomdila.
BOMDILA – TAWANG This morning after breakfast drive to visit Bomdila Monastery, then proceeded to Tawang (180km /5hrs approx) – the land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second-highest pass – THE SELA PASS (13,700ft) which runs through a small ridge & along a lake called PARADISE LAKE. And visit JASWANTGARH, a memorial to the brave soldier who single-handedly tried to hold off approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 IndoChinese war. On arrival check-in at the hotel. O/N at Tawang.
TAWANG SIGHTSEEING After Breakfast, visit the PENGA TEN TSO Lake (P.T.S.O.), Madhuri Lake, and Bumla Pass (subject to weather conditions). Later visit Tawang Monastery, the Monastery is 400 years old and adorned with the 18 ft. High statue of Lord Buddha. Also, visit the very famous Tawang War Memorial. Evening enjoys light and sound show (subject to operational). O/N stay in Tawang.
TAWANG – BOMDILA After breakfast drive to Bomdila (180 km/5 hrs). On the way, enjoy the beauty and majesty of Jung Water Fall and visit Kiwi Garden at Dirang valley. On arrival at Dirang check in the hotel and overnight stay at Dirang.
BOMDILA - GUWAHATI After Breakfast, transferred to Guwahati. Check in to your hotel. Evening visit Shankar deva Kalakshetra – a cultural centre with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam. Overnight stay in Guwahati.
GUWAHATI DEPARTURE After Breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Airport/Railway Station for your return onward destination and tour nedsssssssssssss with sweet memories………!!!!!!!!!!!!
